Content

The course combines content and methods of personal development (focus on personal values) with those of professional development (focus on entrepreneurship: how can I think through an idea and transform it into viable and attractive business model for a startup).

Agenda:

1. personal reflection
The course begins with a personal assessment in which participants explore their personal values. This process is supported by a psychological evaluation tool that visualizes personal value tendencies on the basis of a quantitative personality test (Core Values Finder from www.findyourvalues.com).

2. UN Sustainable Development Goals and idea generation
On the basis of specific challenges oriented to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the participants develop intrinsically motivated business ideas. The focus is particularly on socially and ecologically sustainable business ideas. Own ideas are very welcome. In the course of refining the business ideas, teams are formed around the business ideas. Within the team, shared core values will be agreed upon.

3. impact assessment and business modeling in teams
The teams evaluate the potential impact of their idea. Over the course of the workshop, participants are guided to develop and test their own business idea into a valid business model using entrepreneurial methods.

4. pitching in teams and business plan
The teams present their business models to the other participants in a short pitch. In addition, they submit a written business plan as a team, which is based on the requirements of the EXIST-Gründerstipendium.

5. learning contents

In the course of the seminar the following learning contents in the area of personality development and entrepreneurship will be dealt with as well as knowledge in this regard will be imparted and applied:
