12.5m2 IN TRANSFORMATION

An Argumentation Manual for the Transformation Process.

The car is still one of those objects that are supposed to show the social and intellectual status of their owners in public. Cars dominate the city and the street, parking spaces dominate urban space.

Society is changing, however, and values such as sustainability and resource conservation are increasingly valued. Does "My house, my car, my boat."  still line with the “zeitgeist” of a society that is called to confront climate change? Or, do completely different objects have relevance in the discourse that we must conduct not as individuals but as a global community? Is it personal wealth or is it values like "community, cooperation and quality of life" that define the state of a society?

We experiment in a theoretical and data-based discourse the parking lot, 12.5m2, as the potential of urban sustainability transformation!
